Bhoothnath
Amitabh Bachchan has an appetite for treading in areas that no one will dare to enter. In BR Film's Bhoothnath you would find him turning into a troubled ghost who develops a close bond with a child. Directed by Vivek Sharma, this unusual film also stars Shah Rukh Khan in a special guest appearance. If the picture above tells a tale, then this Men-n-Child-in-Black flick truly promises something different in the year ೨೦೦೮
Maan Gaye Mughal E Azam
Can Mallika Sherawat be compared with morning-dew-fresh Madhubala? Well, 'Murder' babe is trying to realize her 'Khwahish' for she is all set the sway to Anu Malik's version of the classic Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya in writer-director Sanjay Chel's unusually titled Maan Gaye Mughal E Azam. Mallika plays a theatre artiste, Rahul Bose a CBI officer, Kay Kay Menon a Ghazal singer and Paresh Rawal....Well....he has achieved the distinction of being the highest paid actor in this comic flick. Get ready for Sanjay Chel style jugglery-with-alfaaz! Maan Gaye....
Krazzy 4
Starring Arshad Warsi, Irfan Khan, Suresh Menon and Rajpal Yadav, Krazzy 4 is Rakesh Roshan's foray in Production without holding the directorial baton. Superhit son Hrithik is turning an item boy with this film for he will sizzle to one of Uncle Rajesh Roshan's groovy tracks. This Raja Sen directed comedy promises to push the envelope when it comes to delivering sensible humour. Let's wait-n-watch (out) for these Krazzy folks!
Main Yuvraj
Subhash Ghai, the Pied Piper of Indian Cinema is zealously working on his next directorial venture Main Yuvraj starring Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Zayed Khan. The opulent grandeur in the First Look of the film is simply stunning. Even though you're merely looking at the picture, but you could easily hear Rahman's symphonic mellifluous brilliance filling your ears. And, who's the Yuvraj? Well, that's the mystery Ghai wants you guys to unravel. Definitely one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year.
Dulha Mil Gaya
If a film has Shah Rukh Khan's name attached to it, then there's every reason for it to be termed as Big. Mudassar Aziz's directorial debut Dulha Mil Gaya has SRK in an important role while Sushmita Sen and Fardeen Khan play the main lead. This humorous take on relationships is set in Trinidad and both Sush and Fardeen are looking smoking hot. So, who's the Dulha? We guess there's a choice between the two Khans. What do you say!
Money Hai Toh Honey Hai
Choreographer Ganesh Acharya's next directorial venture Money Hai Toh Honey Hai promises to be a full-on commercial caper. What everyone is talking about is Govinda's pairing with Aap Ka Surroor star Hansika and how 'good' the two will look opposite each other considering their age difference. The film also stars Aftab Shivdasani, Celina Jaitley, Kim Sharma, Upen Patel and Manoj Bajpai. Let's see if this Honey makes loads of Money at the Box Office unlike Acharya's debut Swami.
Love Story 2050
Hunky debutante Harman Baweja is all set to make the biggest debut of 2008 with Sci-Fi style flick Love Story 2050 where he is paired with Priyanka Chopra. Lavishly shot in breathtaking locales in Australia and USA, this Love Story will find Chopra babe in a double role. Himesh Reshammiya's music will be a definite plus point of the film considering he has massively cut down on his work as a music director. Hey Future.....here comes our man, Her-Man....Harman!
Kismet Konnection
Jab Shahid and Vidya met, there had to be some connection...oops Konnection! Well, everybody is talking about the groovy romance brewing between the two since the time they started shooting for Aziz Mirza's romantic comedy Kismet Konnection. If the picture above is anything to go by then this duo makes for one adorable couple (on screen or otherwise). With Mirza's tender humour and a tinge of melodious music as the perfect garnishing, this Konnection has a bright Kismet at the ticket window. After all, both Shahid and Vidya have super hits behind them.
